The installation fails and I cant install it. This issue occurs at the login screen of Windows operating system. Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) HP Support Assistant prompts me to install the ASMedia eXtensible Host Controler Driver v.1.16.38.1. It appears that the dock's USB ports are not detected because, in Device Manager, the ASMedia drivers are not listed, and only Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0 (Microsoft) is visible, along with 2 USB Composite Devices, and USB Root Hub (3.0). Fixes & Enhancements - Fixed the issue where the USB functionality is lost when the system and USB keyboard/mouse are connected to Dell Business Thunderbolt Dock TB16. However, I have the latest ASMedia USB drivers, Thunderbolt Controller driver, and BIOS version installed. When I run the TB16 firmware update, I get an error, "Error: Reading ASMedia USB 3.0 Host Controller Firmware failed". However, the ports work when the dock is connected to the laptop with a display port USB-C cable. My issue is that the USB ports and Ethernet port on the TB16 dock does not work when the dock is connected to the laptop via a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C cable.
